Over the past weeks we’ve made big progress with Sayhelo’s new rehearsal room and studio. Our goal wasn’t only to make it look nicer — we wanted it to be more comfortable, healthier, and far more efficient, so rehearsals, recording sessions, and video production can flow smoothly.
New ventilation: fresh air, better focus
One of the most important upgrades was installing a new ventilation system. During long rehearsals and recording sessions, air quality isn’t a “nice-to-have” — it’s essential. With fresher air we stay focused longer, feel better, and the whole space becomes more enjoyable to work in.
Removing an unused vocal booth: more usable space
We had an old separate vocal booth that we weren’t really using anymore — but it took up a lot of room. So we decided to remove it, and use the freed-up space for what actually supports our day-to-day work.
The result: a more open, clearer layout that makes it easier to move around, set up gear, and get ready for recording faster.
New carpets: comfort + more controlled sound
Next step: new carpets. This is both comfort and practicality — it simply feels better to work in the space, and it also helps reduce harsh reflections so the room sounds less “echoey” and more controlled.
Rebuilding the recording area: faster workflow
We redesigned and rearranged the recording area to reduce setup time — less cable chaos, less moving things around, and more time for creative work.

Our goals were:
faster session start (less prep)
everything within reach (logical layout)
easier video setup too (lights, tripods, camera)
Why this matters to us
Because with Sayhelo we do everything in-house — from rehearsals to recording to video production. When the space works better, we:
move faster with new songs
record with higher quality
keep more energy for the music and the community
